The children chanted, "a soul cake, a soul cake, a prayer for a soul cake," meaning that in return for the yummy cake, they would pray for the deceased family member. They got candy at the party instead of a soul cake, but they did say their prayers.

Andrew likes watching the fun - especially with the giraffe off his head

Michael's first games of Simon Says and Duck Duck Goose...good times

The Saints from Aussisi gather together

Here are the 3 of us. I was lazy and didn't wear a costume - just pumpkin earrings

Michael as Saint Francis and Andrew as a giraffe - not sure if St Francis spent much time with giraffes but I am sure they would have lots to talk and pray about

Michael being Prince Charming

There was a coupon for the week of Halloween so we went to Monkey Joe's for some bouncing and sliding fun!!!

Here is the only piture of Michael trick or treating. Michael didn't want to wear a costume - so it was just a bat shirt and black pants. Michael stayed home Halloween night - he has more fun handing out the candy with Dad.

Michael makes a spider as Andrew watches

Michael has been a good boy so he got a more trains just because...

All is not right in Andrew's world - maybe he should call someone to make it better.

farm - some of the pumpkins were STILL ON THE VINE!!! How cool!!! As soon as we got there a black cat came over to say HI - Michael picked him/her up to wish her a Happy Halloween and to ask if he/she saw the Great Pumpkin.

Andrew hanging out in his stroller while Michael plays in the driveway with some

spiders - the kind you windup

Hoping Andrew follows in Michael's footsteps with a love for cooking - so I thought I would

start the process by introducing Andrew to the spoon

Michael expanding his cooking skills - he is now a great toast maker

Grandma can hold Andrew and take pictures - what a great Grandma!!!

Michael getting tips on how to use the big swing from Grandma

Of course Grandma took lots of pictures!!!
