Here is some frost damage - you can see the tips of the plant are black from the cold. Poor plant.

This was big fun!! And we got to do 2 rides since we were the only people there!!! And Lucy was a very nice pony!! Thank you Lucy!!!

ok - a few tears when the hat went on and when we first got on the pony - but once we were off and moving everything was fine, especially with Mom walking right beside Michael.

Then we moved onto the saddle on the tree stump. Michael thought this was fun - no big deal for him - not scared at all!!

Today was pony rides with the St. Mark Playgroup. So in spite of the wind off we went. Sad that most people didn't show up (only us and 1 other mother) but it was GREAT because we skipped the hay ride and got EXTRA pony rides. First Michael tried out the saddle on the hay.

Our art work from class yesterday. It was drawing day - and Michael loved it!!! We used rainbow crayons, chalk, and lots of other cool crayons, markers and special pens!!

The box makes it easier to sink a basket!! Plus today there was water on the cover from the rain - so we could splash and swish at the same time!!!

Grandpa left today to drive home. We had a fun visit - thanks for celebrating Easter with us!!!

The laurels are in bloom - Duncan resting after a quick game of catch.

We did some work outside - we moved the azaleas from the front of the house to the back yard.

Having lots of fun with playdough - the tools make it even more fun!!!!

Tools just like at art class - big fun!

Sometimes it is more fun to watch tv in a box!!!

Guess I should have taken a picture of the lamb cake before most of it was eaten...M&Ms might not melt in your hands but they do melt over the

icing!!!

Since there was no drawing involved Michael decided to skip the egg coloring and figure out how the vcr worked.

The boys were very busy coloring the eggs for Easter.

Today's art project - we painted the flower - then sprinkled the stuff on the wet paint. Michael did well with this paint - it was in cups. We used cool stuff to put on the paint - a shaving cream brush and plastic brushes. The other boy loved the toothbrushes he didn't share. Michael's favorite part was putting the little stuff on the wet paint. The other print is paint on bubble paper, then pressed on to the paper. This time the paint was on a paper plate - Michael wasn't realy into it - so Mom painted but he pushed the bubble wrap onto the paper. Team effort!!

Hope Grandpa is ready for all the water fun!!!

Grandpa arrived yesterday to celebrate Easter with us. Everyone was trying to get his attention so he would play with them.

Same art class as stamp pads we made this...since it is hard to tell what it is I will tell you - it is clay with Michael's hand prints. Then we used paint to make it pretty colors. This time Michael liked painting - I think because the paint was in cups with lids and holes in the center of the lid for the brushes. Pretty cool!!

At art class we srated with stamps - Michael LOVED the stamps!!! He even got his hands dirty and didn't care!!! So many cool stamps - big and little - and lots of great color stamp pads - big and little. BIG FUN!!

Oh no!!! Time to go home...

And when I move my foot, I make circles...how cool!!!!

We could stay here for hours...so much fun to just look at the water...

Stomp stomp splash splash!!!

It was a beautiful day after some rain, so after we walked the dog we went back home and put on our boots so we could stomp in the puddles...but first a quick climb on the wall...so pretty here with the trees in bloom...(except for all the noses and pollen)

Arby is very happy with her cat tree...she hasn't really used it to sharpen her nails yet, but we hope that will be soon....but it is a great sleep

spot and look out the window spot!

We are having lots of fun with the sidewalk chalk!!!

Michael after his haircut. He is very busy with his sand and rocks.

More transportation - this week it was airplanes!! Michael didn't love the painting of the sky - but he did like glueing the airplanes to the paper. He loved using markers and stickers to decorate the wings. We ran out of time at class to try the wings on - we haven't done it at home either...maybe for Grandpa over Easter.

Duncan likes the shade too...he is thinking about taking a spin on the big wheel??

We are ready for the summer!!! New sandals and a cover to make some shade.

Squeezing in the last few minutes of playtime...Arby wanted us to know it is almost bedtime.

oops!!! Don't call the police! It was all my fault - Michael was playing nicely and I asked for a kiss - and when Michael and I leaned into each other we bumped in just the right spot...so I have a little black eye...
The good news is I have a personal easter egg under my eye!!!
