Christmas morning - just home from Mass - Michael is tired so just one or two pictures...
We are missing Grandpa who stayed home to get over a bad cold.
We wish all our friends and family and Merry Merry Christmas!!!

Hope Santa liked the cookies and milk - Duncan suggested the cookie for the reindeer to share instead of some carrots...
It was all gone Christmas morning

Mom and Michael with the Santa hat...Michael looking really tired...

But first just a couple of pictures with the Santa hat...

We opened just a couple gifts on Christmas Eve - and played with the boxes and bags. One toy was a bath toy and so up for a bath we went - with our new toy.

Grandma sampled the cookies to make sure there were OK for Santa

Christmas Eve was very warm here again so we got to play outside. Christmas Day is rainy - so we have to stay inside

Michael wanted to write a note to make sure Santa knew he was welcome...
We also made sure there was fresh water for the reindeers.

Grandma made eggplant - YUM - it was so good Michael decided to feed himself.

Michael got to go into the tent first - Grandma is next

Duncan is watching - he heard the word peanuts but was disappointed to learn not real peanuts...Duncan doesn't want to follow Michael into the box.

Michael in the box!! what fun!!

Looks like a fun place to dive in....packages are still so cool!!!

Having fun with Grandma

Michael likes to sit at his table and color - big fun!

Grandma is here! She arrived safe and sound and is having lots of fun playing with Michael! Duncan wants his share of love too!

What else is fun outside? Sidewalk chalk!!! This warm weather has been great - lots of fun outside but it just doesn't feel like Christmas.
Of course I will regret saying that in a couple of days when it is cold again....Maybe just a few days of cold then more warm weather to start the new year!!!

Stirring up some fun...

What is better than rocks and not as wet as water? SAND!!! So we bought some sand - lots of fun to play with and pour from 1 cup to another....

just having lots of fun outside!!!!

Yes it is warm but not warm enough for water play, so instead we play with rocks...primative but fun, no batteries needed.

Since the weather was so warm we decided to break out a ball and play outside - Michael is having fun tossing and kicking the ball...still working on catching the ball.

Duncan watches to see what treasures Michael will find...

Michael makes sure we have lots of food for the birds

Michael added the hat to keep his head warm!! Thanks Aunt Linda!! Bagels shops can be dangerous places!!

Remember when it was cold? A snowsuit from Aunt Holly goes perfect with slippers from Grandma - and you would never guess Michael has his pjs on underneath! Perfect outfit for an early Sunday morning trip for bagels!!

So now with the weather being colder we had to move water play inside - bath time is not enough - so we decided to play in the kitchen sink - lots of fun!!!
So much fun that sometimes we had to leave Gymboree early since someone just wanted to wash his hands the entire time we were there!! Michael has learned that cleanliness is next to Godliness.

Sad - some pictures of Fletcher were on this set of pictures. We miss you Fletcher. The other day I was cooking and dropped some food - if Fletcher was here I wouldn't have had to pick it up...I am sure the floor in Heaven was never so clean!!

Can you find Michael in the picture??

Wow - can't believe I haven't added anything since Thanksgiving!!! Really we have been busy doing stuff - not sure what stuff but lots of stuff....so let's try to catch up.

As you can see Michael was so tired from all the stuff that he took a quick nap while we went to the Christmas Bazaar - we thought about waking him up but we decided this was too cute a picture...and no crying!!! Santa said he was the best child, no crying, no pulling at his beard, and no demands for lots of toys - just a few quiet snores...
