We had more dessert a home later...no one wanted any other food. Good pumpkin pie - recipe from Kraft - Double Layer Pumpkin Pie - YUM!

Bryan is so proud - Michael used the remote and turned on football. Ok, maybe not so impressive when there is so much football on tv on Thanksgiving, but still it made Bryan happy!

Happy Thanksgiving!!! We did something different this year and went to a Thanksgiving Brunch at a local restaurant. I thought the food was really really good - I had a little piece of turkey and lots of salmon. Michael ate a little bit but I guess he would have preferred pop-tarts! And really who wouldn't prefer pop-tarts? Maybe that's what we will have next year.

Just a quick picture of both of us...have to catch Michael on the run

Grandpa came for a visit to celebrate Thanksgiving. Or maybe he really came to play with Michael's toys...

Very sad news...we had to say goodbye to Fletcher yesterday (11-27). We are all very sad but we know he is very happy now, running around in the sunshine and eating lots of cookies.
We miss you

Michael and the dogs playing in the backyard

Michael trying to call someone so I would stop taking pictures of him

Michael was not into smiling for a Christmas picture...good thing we were able to find another picture

Michael checking out what is going on in the neighborhood.

Michael likes this flower - it blooms now - fall/winter - adds nice color to the garden.

What could be more fun than a flashlight? What a great toy!!!

Last picture before going home. Can't believe how crowded it was - Michael was such a good boy!!! Lots to see - and luckily there were lots of snacks!!

The theme was Christmas around the world - here is the Russian Santa

Michael thought the dogs would LOVE this!!! The cat wanted to know where her stuff would go - Fletcher reminded her about the day she was a bad cat (he is old but still has a memory for some things) and the fur started to fly!! Duncan went outside to stay neutral.

Michael thought this would be perfect for Grandpa - he LOVES western stuff!!!

Who doesn't need a tree made of pink feathers??
Michael liked some of the decorations...

We went to the Southern Christmas Show - saw LOTS of stuff - they always have a room for miniatures...so much little details...
here are some examples

Here are some more pictures - just in case you can't see Michael I took a picture of him inside too...

Michael taking a walk outside - he loves to hear the wind chimes....

All dressed up an no where to go...so Mom took some pictures...

Mom playing with different camera angles...time to start working on picking a Christmas picture...

Lazy Sunday - just eating some mac and cheese, drinking some milk, reading the paper...

Then one day Michael must have been hungry - he climbed into his high chair by himself!!

Our church had a Christmas Bazaar - when we got there Santa was taking a break - when Santa got back Michael was taking a nap...we thought about waking him up but decided this was the better picture - no crying!!

Some days Michael is such a big boy - then other days he fits himself into the truck and you remember he is still a little boy...

We went to the neighborhood Halloween party - but it wasn't so great so we came home...

Planted some flowers for the winter

After taking Grandma to the airport we went to Dad's office for a visit. Michael made himself at home...Dad wanted us to stay (I think so he could watch some Baby Einstein - much more fun than work)

Grandma had some words of wisdom before she left...Michael was listening and trying to remember everything Grandma said...

Sometimes Michael doesn't want to sit in his high chair to eat - he wants to sit at the table...

Lots of fun with Grandma!!!

When Grandma was here she made some eggplant - YUM - and she even made extra so Mom coould freeze it - YUM YUM!!!

Michael is great at climbing up too.

Mom and Michael having fun at the park...Grandma went down the slide too!!

I was worried the other day - I went into the garage and Michael closed the door - then I heard him playing with the knob...he is almost tall enough to lock the front and back door...I was hoping he didn't learn how to lock the garage door - I think I will put a key out there just in case!!! I will really have to watch when he learns how to open the doors!!

Just hanging out - dringing some milk - having fun!! One day I gave Michael some string cheese and he took the wrapper and threw it away without me asking him to do it - he is such a good boy!!! Then he hid a sippy cup with milk - took me a while to find it...silly me for not looking in the pots!!

Sometimes Michael likes to just veg out - watch a little Noggin....He is no longer scared of the new UpsideDown show...Maybe because he knows it is from Australia now??

Someone was VERY BAD last week!!!!
Guess who??

Michael is really loving this bicycle now!!! He drives it everywhere around the house. He sometimes sits on it to watch tv. Yes, I have fed him some yogurt on it too. He goes forwards and backwards - fast!

Cool slippers Grandma bought - and he even keeps them on his feet - most of the time. Getting ready for winter

One of Mom's better finds - a desk - Michael seems to like sitting at it coloring...he is getting to be such a big boy!!

Fun at the mall - it is so cool - some of the things make noise when you step on them...

Michael is much happier out of costume

Did a quick test run of the Halloween costume with Grandma at the pumpkin patch - Michael is dressed as the 102nd Dalmation - and no, I did not get 101 dalmations to complete the costume (or we would have to really change Bryan's name to POOR POOR Bryan (adding 101 dogs would require 2 poors))
