Snow!!!  Big fun!!  Michael made a snow angel and Andrew made a sculpture!  We recreated the winter olympics using lego people!!  Sharks skied the best!!  Michael wouldn't believe us that it was not easy to ride your bike in the snow so he tried it for himself!

The boys are loving the Charlotte Checkers more and more!!!  We love going to the games.  Here they are with the basketball mascot Rufus.  Earlier in the season the boys got to watch a little of the Bobcats game while we were getting our hockey tickets.

Nothing like a little mini golf on a beautiful day after pictures with Santa!!!!

Big fun at the bowling alley!!  Michael got a couple of spares!!  Andrew is now more interested in bowling that just eating pizza so this will be an event we work into our Spring schedule - boys even thinking of summer camp lessons!!  Must be the Polish kicking in!!  Of course Grandpa Donald was a big-time bowler, with his own ball & shoes!!!

Big fun at our annual trip to the Southern Christmas Show!!!  Michael was the great photographer of several of these pictures!  As always the decorations were beautiful!!!  Boys LOVE the train display!!  

First official event to kick off the Christmas season - the lighting of the tree in Birkdale Village!!!  It was a beautiful night, in the upper 60's!!!  

Bryan was not feeling well so Grandma went to the hockey game with us.  Grandma was very happy it was not the 'take your dog to the game' event!!  Fun outing but the Checkers lost :(

We went to see a great exhibit - art from the World's Fair.  One of the coolest things - a paper mache piano!  Amazing detailsNo pictures from the exhibit but the Mint Museum of Modern Art did have a great kid's room where the boys made their own art and pictures were allowed at the other exhibits.

Best thing about new kitchen - boys cooking!!!  Andrew is making a smoothie - yum!  Michael is making cinnamon rolls - he was watching to make sure they didn't get burnt!!

Fun at the Lionel Warehouse Sale!!  We didn't purchase the Snoopy train this trip but we did get another one!!  Michael being the photographer, Andrew being the model.

Boys figured out something to do with all the ice now - great to practice their golf swing, their baseball skills or to just smash because they are boys!!!

The joy of homeschool!!!  It was a nice day and the boys wanted to be outside, so we took school outside!!!  Plus while the boys were working on their studies I was able to clean the garage after the construction!!  Everyone was productive!  After the garage was clean the boys build a mini hockey rink inside!

All Saint's Day 2013.  Since it was rainy we couldn't have a party in the park so instead it was bagels inside!  Michael was St Michael and Andrew was St Andrew - ignore the Mario shirt under Andrew's robe!  Best news - boys said they will swap next year - Michael will be St Andrew and Andrew will be St Michael.  Thanks to Godfather Father Robert for the help with their costumes!!!

Fun Trick or Treating at Birkdale Village.  Andrew is a builder and Michael is a football player.
